The It Takes A Village Pre-Accelerator is Back in Session!

August 9, 2018

With the previous success of our first ever pre-accelerator, we decided to relaunch the It Takes A Village Pre-Accelerator Program to give 11 more emerging startups, led by women and people of color, direct access to community, capital, and resources this fall.

After receiving twice the amount of competitive applications, we are super excited to announce our next group of diverse founders who have been accepted into the second cohort:

  1. GrpFit - Richard Bailey
  2. Trymyfab - Christiannah Oyedeji
  3. Airlift - Sheehan Khan
  4. HackOut Ninja - Jerica Richardson
  5. OurErrands - DeShawn Stevenson, Justice Miranda
  6. Usit - Ifrah Khan
  7. HireGround - Cloe Guidry
  8. Laine London - Lundyn Carter, Tiffany Gaines
  9. Cryptopedia - Dajour Resiere
  10. Film Connx - Carolyn Pitt, Allen Walters
  11. Distributed Intelligence - Darrell Coleman, Trellis Heard

Being an extension of Atlanta Tech Village’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiative, this 6-month program is designed to prepare misrepresented founders to successfully acquire new customers, receive a seed investment, and/or earn a spot in an accelerator program. We believe we can get this group to the next level by providing an inclusive environment to work with like-minded founders, facilitate guidance from seasoned industry professionals, and conduct educational workshops on how to build and grow a sustainable business.Don’t blink! – these are the startups to look out for.
