Startup "Choate" down

The Village loves to celebrate things large and small, and our official renovation beginning is kind of a big deal around here. So this Friday our awesome construction company, Choate, is sponsoring Startup Chowdown- christened for this week only as Startup "Choate" down.

Join 200+ entrepreneurs at the Village for a cookout on the top of our parking deck as we kick off the physical building of our community AND as we help repair another. For folks in the startup world, Boulder is a place well known. Our friends at Techstars​ and several tech companies we know in Colorado are in the process of rebuilding their communities after the recent devastating floods. This Friday at Startup "Choate" down, we will be collecting any donation (cash, check, card) that you or your company would like to give back to help flood victims in Colorado. All donations will be given to a local organization who is actively working on the ground, Boulder Flood Relief.​What's even more amazing is that Village member, QASymphony, has offered to match donations given this day up to $1,000!

For all these reasons and more, Friday's Startup "Choate" down is going to be pretty epic. Here's what to expect:

-Weather forecast? Mostly sunny and a high of 84.-Live Band!-200+ of your closest friends-Grill out on the top of our parking deck with hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, baked beans, potato salad, and chips-New line set up for more efficient food gettin’-Sno Cones for everyone!-New Village tshirts available for a $5 donation to Boulder Flood Relief-For a $20 donation, you can pie Oscar, our beloved Village staffer, in the face.-Free Red Bulls being distributed by the Wing Team-Oh, and a 22 foot high dual blow up slide. BOOM.-JUST IN! Urvaksh, notorious tech reporter for the Atlanta Business Chronicle, has volunteered to also get pied for a $40 donation! Way to give back, Urvaksh.
