Atlanta Startup Village #14

November 19, 2013

The 14th Atlanta Startup Village is in the books. Thanks to the 225+ folks who came out to support the startup community in our city! Beer started flowing at 7pm and by 7:30pm it was standing room only. Here's a quick recap of the 5 pitches tonight:1. Blumenlo - BluMenlo is a mobile solutions company bringing healthcare into the 21st century. They are working on some exciting new concepts in the healthcare space that will optimize workflows, improve patient care, and quantify procedures through mobile applications in a variety of ways.2. VehWare - VehWare is a hardware startup that is designing, installing, marketing and servicing Visual Black Box technology for large trucks, busses and other fleet vehicles. The big idea is discovering not what happened, but WHY it happened so they can prevent future crashes.3. SalesVibe - Want to know what the buyer is thinking before you make the first call? SalesVibe provides a glassdoor for B2B Sales. They are the first site for B2B buyer and corporate buying process ratings, buyer interviews, and sales tools to sell smarter.4. Regpoint Solutions - Regpoint Solutions develop registration management software and online registration systems for schools, camps, athletic clubs, sports camps, events. Their goal is to simplify and streamline program registration with an all-in-one registration and payment solution, combining intuitive registration management software with instant payment processing.5. Liberated Tech - Awesome idea for a nonprofit in the tech industry- volunteers with little to no computer experience are trained to refurbish donated equipment. They gain hardware and software skills and the refurbished computers are kept out of landfills and distributed back to the community for free or at very low cost in a Thrift Store. It's a win/win.Five great companies, dreaming big, working hard and doing great things. Mark your calendars for the next Atlanta Startup Village on Monday, January 27th at 7pm.
