Join us on December 13th from 12 - 1:30 pm to spend time with incredible women in tech while paying it forward to other women across Atlanta. We will be getting together to create packs for the Atlanta Chapter of the Period Project.
We will get to have a great time networking while paying it forward this holiday season.
We ask that when you attend the event, you bring with you one (or 6) of the following:
Individually wrapped feminine hygiene wipes
Individually wrapped tampons
Individually ultra-thin overnight pads
Individually ultra-thin pads
Can't make it and still want to provide period products for the event? Feel free to drop it by ATV any weekday before the event on December 13th or you can Venmo the Atlanta Chapter President, Hilton Thompson, who will pick up products for you @HiltonPeeples.
A Period Pack is a small package that contains a supply of products for one woman including tampons, pads, and wipes. These products serve menstruators in shelters and living on the street. We also supply them to young menstruators in local schools who cannot afford or access menstrual care as well as to menstruators in need due to disasters such as hurricanes or fires. The Homeless Period Project has delivered over 240,000-period packs since we began our mission in 2015.
