Angel investing and VC research show time and time again that companies who go through due diligence have a higher rate of success versus those that don’t. Furthermore, there is a positive correlation between thoroughness and that success. Therefore, the due diligence is a critical step in raising capital for all Entrepreneurs, Angel Investors and VC’s. This process can either smoothly pave the road to investment or kill a deal that otherwise had encouraging momentum.
