Considering responsible AI when building early products is important for your users, your product story, your partners, and future iterations of your products. And if you’re building in AI, it’s critical that you’re innovating first within a responsible culture.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the pillars of responsible AI, real-world examples of human and machine bias, and practice how to get started with responsible AI awareness within your team.

About the Facilitator
Alex de Aranzeta (she/her) is a startup advisor, coach, and storytelling strategist for tech companies. She also hosts a responsible AI podcast called “The Culture of Machines,” available on Spotify.
Alex has dedicated her career in policy and compliance to combat inequity, unfairness, and discrimination. Before tech, she led civil rights compliance and governance in government, higher ed, and enterprise for workforces of 50 to 50,000, and has spoken on equity, tech, and communication with the U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau, Harvard Kennedy School, World Congress of Bioethics, and more.
