Who needs investors? The answer may surprise you!

A widely accepted notion in entrepreneurial circles is that the way to start and grow a great business is to come up with a great “idea”, write a great business plan, raise angel or venture capital, flawlessly execute the plan, and (Voila!) get rich! But it hardly ever happens this way, and the vast majority of successful businesses don’t raise capital, at least not in the early stages, before their concept has been proven. Angels who make money don’t invest that way either.
John Mullins, professor at the London School of Business and noted author and speaker, will give us insight in to how some of the best entrepreneurs – including those who developed iconic companies like Dell, Banana Republic, and many more – got their seed funding not from investors, but from their customers.
