Navigating FinTech: Learn from the Experts

Financial Services Technology, known as FinTech, has grown to a $30B revenue generating industry in Georgia, ranking only 3rd behind New York and California. Some 70 companies in the space have created over $80B of shareholder value across the last 20 years, with hundreds of startup companies now in Atlanta competing in the FinTech space. Nationwide there are believed to be as many as 10,000 startups seeking to carve out a niche for success.
Given the rapid rise of the FinTech sector, the Education Committee of the Atlanta Technology Angels invites you to learn from a panel of experts on investing in this booming, lucrative, complicated and potentially risky space. This discussion is open to investors, entrepreneurs, and the general public.
During the session you will hear from FinTech VC and angel investors, an investment banker in the space, a consultant, and an industry practitioner. The discussion is geared towards helping everyone become savvier to capitalize on this hastily expanding industry.
Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will proceed the panel starting at 6 pm.
