This month's event has been cancelled. We'll see you in the new year!

As entrepreneurs, it's our job to write our own rules. So why are we still so prone to following rules set by others? In his book 4 Hour Workweek, author/entrepreneur Tim Ferriss encourages his readers to find a public place (subway station, mall, etc) and lay down in the middle of a crowded floor. Why? To get you over the fear of breaking socal norms. At tenrocket.com, it was a desicion to not start a traditional agency. For you, it may mean doing something even more risky. This month we'll be talking through some common rules that hold people back from startup success, and how to write new rules that challenge the status quo.
Some of the startup ‘rules' we’ll be taking down include:

  • You should be working overtime (more than 50 hours a week)
  • You need a beautiful product
  • Your customers know what they want
  • …and much more

Then we’ll do a workshop, showing you:

  • How to write your own rules
  • How to get others to follow those rules
  • How to modify rules as you gain meaningful feedback
